Headlights automatically turn on when it is dark, such as at dusk or in underground car parks. During travel, the D-MAX dims the high beams automatically to avoid dazzling other drivers.

Automatic Bi-LEDs illuminate farther and wider, turning on independently when the D-MAX senses low-light conditions. They also feature LED Day Time Running Lights (DRLs) for extra visibility on the road during the day. (Standard on LS and X-TERRAIN models)

Lane Departure Prevention

Lane Departure Prevention is activated if the vehicle is about to depart from the driver's lane. The system assists by steering the vehicle in the correct direction to help prevent lane departure. This feature can also be disabled via the Lane Support System (LSS) Switch.

Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver when the vehicle starts to drift out of the current lane. This feature can also be disabled via the Lane Support System (LSS) Switch.

Emergency Lane Keeping Image

Emergency Lane Keeping

Unique to the D-MAX in the 1 tonne ute market, if there is danger of collision with vehicles approaching from behind in an adjacent lane, the vehicle will help avoid the collision by preventing lane departure. This feature can also be disabled via the Lane Support System (LSS) Switch.

The Lane Keep Assist (LKA) system is designed to detect road lane markings and assist steering operation by keeping your vehicle in its lane while Adaptive Cruise Control is engaged. (Available on automatic transmission models only.) This feature can also be disabled via the Lane Support System (LSS) Switch.

Lane Support System (LSS) Switch

The Lane Support System (LSS) Switch, located on the steering wheel allows the driver to toggle the LSS on-or-off by pressing and holding the Switch for two seconds. The LSS includes Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) on automatic models. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) will still function regardless if the LKA is disabled via the Switch.

IDAS features are designed to assist the driver, but should not be relied upon nor used as a substitute for safe driving practices. Feature operation may vary in different driving conditions. For more information and an explanation of features use and limitations refer to the Owner & Driver’s Manual or talk to your local Isuzu UTE Dealer. ∞Up to 800mm of wading depth on all D-MAX models when travelling at a consistent speed of 7km/h. Water ingress may occur if speed is not maintained or if the vehicle is static in water above 350mm. §Seats have leather touches or accents, but are not wholly leather. +3.5-tonne braked towing capacity on all 3-litre engine D-MAX models, 3.0-tonne braked towing capacity on 1.9-litre engine automatic transmission models, 2.8-tonne braked towing capacity on 1.9-litre engine manual transmission models when fitted with an optional genuine Isuzu UTE tow bar kit or tow tongue kit and an Electronic Brake Controller. ^6 years/150,000km (whichever occurs first), for Isuzu UTE Vehicles with a Warranty Start Date on or after 1/1/19. Excludes trays & accessories. <The Roadside Assistance Program ("RSA Program") provides Coverage to RSA Eligible Vehicles (Private, ABN and Business Fleet Customers only) with a Warranty Start Date on or after 1/9/20 for a maximum of 7 years (unlimited kilometres).
